Job description / Responsibilities:

Divisional In-charge/ Divisional Sales Manager:

  • Confer with Manager in defining annual business plan for the sales function based on the defined corporate strategies
  • Translate the annual sales plan into quarterly/ monthly/ weekly/ daily operational plans and develop regional sales targets for each product
  • Share sales target with all the zones and ensure that the target is fulfilled
  • Monitor, motivate and engage people working under supervision, so that the sales never goes below the standard
  • Plan, organize, implement sales programs for the concerned area and ensure that the overall sales objectives is achieved
  • Regularly monitor the orders taken by the sales executives and take appropriate measures in case of non-achievement of sales target
  • Actively track sales movement of competitors products and marketing activities and report to Sales Management
  • Monitor and evaluate pricing of competitors and take necessary action
  • Maintain various trade marketing activities for sales target achievement
  • Discuss and provide sales forecast to Sales Management and Factory
  • Check out the market trends and suggest new product and product line to the Sales Management
  • Take report from the system to ensure timely collections from the market
  • Any other relevant task assigned by the Sales Management

Trainee Zonal Manager:

  • Discuss with Divisional Sales Manager in defining annual business plan for the sales function based on the defined Zonal strategies
  • Turn the annual sales target into quarterly/ monthly/ weekly/ daily operational plans and develop sales targets for each base
  • Share sales target with all the Sales Representatives (SRs) and ensure that the target is fulfilled
  • Monitor, motivate and engage SRs, so that the sales never goes below the standard
  • Plan, organize, implement sales programs for the concerned area and ensure that the overall sales objectives is achieved
  • Regularly monitor the orders taken by the SRs and take appropriate measures in case sales target is not fulfilled
  • Track sales movement of competitors products and marketing activities and report to concern Divisional In-Charge
  • Monitor and evaluate pricing of competitors and convey the message to supervisor
  • Maintain various trade marketing activities for sales target achievement
  • Discuss and provide sales forecast to Divisional In-Charge
  • Check out the market trends and suggest new product and product line to the supervisor
  • Take report from the system to ensure timely collections from the market
  • Any other relevant task assigned by the Sales Management

Educational Requirements: Masters in Marketing will have an extra advantage.

Experience Requirements:

Divisional In-charge/ Divisional Sales Manager:

  • 3 to 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  • Sales, Business Development, Relationship Management/Key Account Management, Retail Stores/Shops, Marketing, Customer Support/Client Service
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
